The Loot Drop Issue: Community Concerns

The concern largely stems from the fact that although rare monsters in endgame areas are more challenging and carry modifiers that scale their difficulty, their loot often doesn’t reflect this heightened challenge. Similarly, players have reported frustration with "unlucky" drops, where defeating a unique boss results in minimal rewards, significantly impacting progression and overall satisfaction.
GGG’s Plans to Address the Loot Issue
In response to these concerns, GGG has outlined several changes aimed at making loot drops more satisfying and rewarding for players. These changes will address both the quantity and quality of rewards, ensuring that rare monsters and unique bosses drop loot that is in line with their difficulty.
One of the most significant changes involves doubling the rarity bonus per rare monster modifier and increasing the quantity bonus by 10%. This will directly impact the loot drops from rare monsters, making them more likely to drop better items as players progress through the game. Additionally, rare monsters in endgame areas will now have a higher chance of buy Path of Exile 2 Orbs spawning with more modifiers, further enhancing the challenge and the rewards.
